Ritesh Sidwani : If Needed, Will bring Mahira Khan for ‘Raees’ promotions : The new year 2017 will begin with the mega-hit movie “Raees” which features Shahrukh Khan and Mahira Khan in the lead role. However, with the promotion of the movie all set to kick off, the biggest question arise for its makers whether they have to involve Pakistani actress Mahira Khan in the promotion or not?
Well, looking at the environment of India and especially the kind of relationship the country is sharing with arch rivals Pakistan, it will not be the wise decision to bring Mahira for the promotions. However, on the eve of the launch of the trailer of “Raess,” Riteish Sidhwani, the producer of the movie informed media wing that ” “I think when we start promotions and if we find it necessary to involve her and bring her here, we will do it.”
He further added that ” “I don’t think there will be any restriction for her from government and it won’t be the problem to issue the visa to her. We will decide about her involvement.”
Well, it looks like even makers know that involvement of Mahira Khan in promotions will definitely create chaos in whole India and the India people.
Meanwhile, “Raees” depicts the story of bootlegger whose business is thwarted by a tough policeman. It is co-produced by Excel Entertainment and Red Chillies Entertainment and also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui in main role.
