The actor will also be accompanied the famous musician A R Rahman at the stage of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champ. Sridevi recently shot for the episode and it will be being telecast for 2 days at the show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champ on 13th and 14th May which is universally being celebrated as the International World Mothers Day.
The actor will be at the show and Sridevi actually gives Goosebumps to the fans with her friendly style. Fans and audiences were literally having floating butterfly on stomach on seeing the lady superstar Sridevi at the stage and she also enthralled everybody when she shakes her leg in the song, Mere Haathon Main Nau Nau Chudiya Hai from the movie Chandni.

Of late, Sridevi also made headlines for Baahubali 2, which is the blockbuster movie of the contemporary time. Some media outlets suggested that Ramya Krishna was not actually the choice for Sivagami in Baahubali 2, in fact, Sridevi was the original choice. But Ramya Krishna just nailed in the role of Shivagami with huge accolades both critical and commercially.
Actually, not only SS Rajamouli, in fact, Sridevi also wanted to do Sivagami’s role but reportedly, her remuneration demands were not affordable for the makers so they opted out the choice to cast Sridevi for the role. According to media reports, Sridevi wanted around Rs 6 crore for playing Sivagami in Baahubali 2.
And Rajamouli also stated in an event of Chennai that he did not approach Ramya first for playing Sivagami and he stated to media regarding the issue, “I don’t know what went into my head when I considered other actresses for Sivagami role. I feel ashamed I did that”.
Mom which is slated to hit theaters on 7th July also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshaye Khanna in pivotal roles. Nawazuddin recently said that she always wanted to work with Sridevi and Mom gives him the perfect opportunity for the same. “When I was approached for the film I just couldn’t refuse as it was an opportunity to act with Sridevi”, Nawaz said to PTI.
