Telugu TV actresses Bhargavi and Anusha Reddy killed in car accident: Telugu actor Bhargavi (20) of TV show ‘Mutyala Muggu‘ fame and aspiring actor Anusha Reddy (21) died in a car accident in Vikarabad district of Telangana on Wednesday. According to a Times of India report, their car hit a tree, killing them on the spot while the actors were returning from Vikarabad to Hyderabad on Tuesday night after wrapping up the shoot of their upcoming TV show along with two others. Car driver Chakri and another person Vinay Kumar traveling in the same vehicle were injured.

According to the reports of India Today, the police said the car driver Chakri tried to avert a collision with a truck coming from the opposite direction and hit a roadside tree near Appareddy Guda bus stop in Chevella during the early hours of Wednesday.

The reports further suggested that while Bhargavi died on the spot while Anusha Reddy deceased due to her injuries while being shifted to hospital. The injured, car driver Chakri and another person Vinay Kumar were admitted to government-run Osmania General Hospital in Hyderabad.

The television artists had gone to Vikarabad on Monday for shooting in Ananthagiri forest. After completing the shooting, the team was returning to Hyderabad.

Bhargavi was a resident of Nirmal and played the female antagonist named Nandhika in the popular TV show ‘Mutyala Muggu‘. Anusha was an aspiring actor from Jayashankar Bhupalapally in Telangana.

Mutyala Muggu is a Telugu drama television series starring Bhumi and Nandika. The story revolves around the life of Bhulaxmi, her mother and family who hails from a remote village called Paderu. Bhulaxmi is a Kabaddi and Bharatanatyam enthusiast who dreams of excelling in sports and pursuing further studies. However, her mother who has a bitter past holds her back from fulfilling her dreams.

Vicky Kaushal gets 13 stitches and fractures cheekbone, on horror film set: After the super success of Uri: The Surgical Strike, Vicky Kaushal has returned to work with Bhanu Pratap Singh’s untitled horror film, which revolves around a ship that lies static on a beach. The actor would have barely known that while shooting the film, he would also witness real horror. But on Thursday (April 18), things took an ugly turn when Vicky Kaushal injured himself on the film set. He fractured his cheekbone while shooting for an action sequence.

The crew of the film was shooting in Alang (a real set that is world’s biggest ship-breaking yard), Gujarat since the past five days. Vicky was shooting for an action sequence in the ship where he has to run and open a door.

According to a report in a leading daily, Vicky got 13 stitches after a door fell on him.

A source told the daily, “Unfortunately, the door fell on him and he was badly hurt. He was rushed to a local hospital by the crew and flown to Mumbai on Friday morning,”

A large portion of the movie was previously shot in Mumbai. It was a month-long schedule in January then. Produced by Karan Johar, the film also stars Bhumi Pednekar in the lead role. Co-incidentally Vicky and Bhumi have already been announced as the starcast for Karan Johar’s next directorial ‘Takht’. Meanwhile, director Bhanu too has previously been an assistant to Shashank Khaitan.

Talking about the film’s success, Vicky had previously told the same daily, “Just before the film was to release, Aditya [Dhar, director] and I were discussing how the entire team has given their all – physically, mentally and emotionally – to the project. Though we were content with our efforts, we didn’t expect the audience to go bonkers.”

Despite of so many efforts and so many precautionary measures taken by HBO to dodge the spy drones while filming and also ensuring the prevention of leaking of the climax in other ways, it left everyone shocked as Amazon Prime Video in Germany reportedly released this week’s episode, around six hours before its scheduled time. The leak took Internet in a fire as many people watched the entire episode and managed to upload it to different torrent sites before it was taken down. Though it was taken down from the website soon after, it made its way to several torrent sites for free download.

It became more shocking that all this comes after extremely drastic measures placed by the makers to avoid any leakage ahead of its premiere. Earlier, four episodes of season five had arrived online much before the broadcast time. It was also reported that not only the showrunners David Benioff and DB Weiss shot several versions of the final episode to keep the cast in dark about the fate of their characters but also, the producers shared only essential parts of the script with the cast members on a special app.

The first episode titled Winterfell had shown the union of the Stark siblings: Arya, Sansa and Jon Snow besides the arrival of Daenerys Targaryen’s huge army. The episode had ended with a gruesome scene showing the young Lord Ned Umber, after being turned into a White Walker was pinned to a wall. Though he was killed soon after but was found surrounded by several severed pieces of human arms arranged like the Night King’s sigil.

However, despite all the efforts, the first episode was leaked after some hours of its premiere and now the second episode is also out before its official scheduled premiere. The season eight is the final and last season of the GOT series with longer and fewer episodes to bring the most popular TV show to a much-deserved end.
